A dynamic and purpose-driven executive, Christie employs a robust skillset to set a long-term vision and strategy while delivering results. As Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at The Estée Lauder Companies, Christie leads strategic efforts across a variety of global prestige beauty brands, including Estée Lauder, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Aveda, Origins, Bumble and bumble, and Dr.Jart+. Previously, Christie worked at Apple, leading a senior-level strategy and innovation team to spearhead new initiatives for Apple’s Retail group under the visionary leadership of Angela Ahrendts. Prior to Apple, Christie was a Senior Consultant at Gallup, Inc. where she oversaw multi-million dollar consulting projects for the nation’s largest hospital chains, as well as for large consumer packaged goods and banking clients. There, she developed a model to measure and manage culture, which received international acclaim and led to the foundation of a new practice within the company.
It was while at Apple that Christie met Dov Seidman and connected over a shared passion to elevate subjects of human significance and find ways to measure what matters most. Through The HOW Institute for Society, Christie sees a transformative opportunity to build frameworks around people-centric ideas within corporate settings, looking beyond cost-benefit analysis alone to better serve society’s needs. As a dedicated HOW Fellow, Christie strengthens the Institute’s long-term strategy and supports leading research on human connection.
Prior to earning her Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Christie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University. She is an active alumna of both institutions, as well as a member of the Society of Fellows with The Aspen Institute and a strong supporter of early-stage start-ups and entrepreneurs.
Christie and her husband live in New York City with their two children.
