Veterans often face unique obstacles to social connection—in addition to all the same factors that inhibit connection for civilians. This session will explore challenges veterans face after leaving the military, ways that veterans’ groups have worked to address some of these challenges, and to what extent these measures are helping with belonging, connection, and purpose.
